Nvr Enuff Polish - Candy Land Collection

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have Nvr Enuff Polish's new Candy Land Collection to share with you! This collection consists of four glitter-packed polishes inspired by characters from the awesome children's game, Candy Land! These polishes are set to release today at 2:00PM PST.

I would like to amend the previous title I gave Lynnae and Alix of Nvr Enuff Polish from Flakey Polish Queens to Glitter Polish Queens because they are always rockin' out ahhhh-mazing glitter-packed polishes flakey or otherwise!

Most swatches are topped with my favorite top coat, Gem Glam Top Coat, by Dream Polish. I will also be sharing some pictures with no top coat  to show the awesome natural texture of the polishes. If you are not a fan of texture, no worries, just add one or two coats of top coat for a smooth finish. Now, on to the swatches!

"Lord Licorice" is a deep plum-colored jelly packed full of pink, purple, and maroon metallic glitter as well as black holographic glitter. Here I am wearing two coats with top coat. As with any densely glittery polish, the formula is a little thicker, but not so thick that it is unmanageable. This baby is hands-down my favorite from the collection! It's purple, full of glitter, and mesmerizingly sparkly, what more could a girl ask for?!

I'm in love.

Here is a swatch and macro of "Lord Licorice" without top coat:

Truth be told, I am a huge sucker for textured polish, so when Lynnae mentioned these polishes having a slightly textured finish, I was excited! "Lord Licorice" has texture very similar to that of the original Zoya Pixie Dust polishes.
However, if you really want to show off all that awesome glitter, make sure you put a few coats of top coat on!

"Princess Lolly" is a micro gold flake polish filled with light pink and bright pink holographic glitter. Here I am wearing two coats with topcoat. This beauty is super girly and cute! You could wear "Princess Lolly" as a glitter topper in one very thin coat, but she is definitely opaque enough to be worn on her own in two coats.

"Princess Lolly" wasn't truly very textured prior to top coat, only very slightly in the way that all glitter-packed polishes are:

"Queen Frostine" is a light blue jelly filled with silver and blue holographic glitter and fine pink shifting flakes. You can just barely see the pink in the swatch above, but it is way more evident in the macro and, of course, in real life! Here I am wearing two coats with top coat. This blue is so fun and bright!

Behold! Glorious pink micro flakes!

"Queen Frostine" had a similar texture to "Lord Licorice," if not just a touch more sandy:

"King Kandy" is a micro glitter polish packed with gold, blue, and pink holographic glitter. Here I am wearing two coats with top coat. "King Kandy" could also be worn as a glitter topper in one very thin coat; however, he is dense enough to be worn on his own in two coats.

Holo glitter heaven!

"King Kandy," like "Princess Lolly" is only very slightly textured in the way a glittery polish always is:

Here is a look I created using "Lord Licorice" and "King Kandy." The hypnotic swirls of "King Kandy" were created using Twinkled T's cyclone vinyls. I also used a few bows from Born Pretty Store.

Can't. Look. Away.

I love this collection! All four of these polishes are so glittery and perfect! "Lord Licorice" and "Queen Frostine" are bright and bold, while "Princess Lolly" and "King Kandy" are more neutral-leaning. These polishes can be worn with top coat for a smooth sparkly finish, or without top coat for a lightly textured finish. I think they look amazing either way!
Remember, these babies release at 2PM PST today, so set an alarm!
