Gothic Gala Lacquers - Mt. Olympus Collection

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have some selections from Gothic Gala Lacquers's Mt. Olympus Collection to share with you! This collection consists of ten chrome finish polishes in a variety of shades and will be available for preorder at a discounted price starting March 1st.

All swatches were topped with a coat of Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now let's get to these beauties!

"Ares" is a gorgeous grape creme polish with a light shimmer. Shown here is two smooth and easy coats. If you haven't already guess it, this is my absolute favorite from this collection. This is such a yummy shade of purple! I love how the finish on this polish almost makes it look like it fades from dark to light on my nails.

Grape perfection!

"Hestia" is a bright sage green creme with a subtle shimmer. Shown here is two smooth coats. This is a great neutral green, while still being bright and fun.

"Zeus" is a lovely aquamarine blue creme with a subtle shimmer. Here I am wearing two easy coats. This is such a delicate shade of blue. I really think it would look lovely paired with "Ares" for some nail art.

"Dionysus" is a gorgeous burgundy creme with a soft shimmer. Here I am wearing two coats. I just love this shade! It's so classic and so beautiful. This is another favorite of mine from this collection because of its versatility. "Dionysus" is a perfect choice for basically any occasion.

So perfect!

"Hephaestus" is a beautiful pale silver creme with a light shimmer. Show here is two easy coats. This is another great neutral shade that would look fabulous anywhere at any time! I think "Hephaestus" would look amazing paired with any of the other colors in this collection.

I am totally digging these five beauties! This collection affords so many options for nail art, and the colors are perfect for wear on their own. The formulas were fantastic which is unsurprising because Samantha puts out amazing polish! Each of these polishes were perfectly opaque in two coats, and the shimmer is exquisite.

The Mt. Olympus Collection will be available for preorder from March 1st through the 9th. During this time they will be available at a discounted price. Preorders will begin to ship on March 16th.
On March 16th the collection will be readily available in the shop at regular price.

The full collection will be available in both 7mL and 10mL sizes. Individual bottles will only be available in the 10mL size.

Lavish Polish - Spring Collection and Dazzling

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have Lavish Polish's Spring Collection that will be releasing Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 PM PST. The Spring Collection consists of five floral-inspired crellies that are just stunning! I also have "Dazzling," a gorgeous color-shifting micro flake polish that will be released alongside the Spring Collection to share with you all!

All swatches were topped with the super glossy and quick drying Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now, let's get to those swatches!

"Wisteria" is a gorgeous purple crelly that is a flawless representation of the flower it is named after. Here I am wearing three thin coats for complete opacity. This shade is absolutely perfect for spring as well as year-round wear. I seriously could wear this all day, every day. Such a perfect purple!

"Tulips" is a vibrant fuchsia pink crelly. Here I am wearing two thin and easy coats. This pink is so bright and lovely, making it a perfect choice for wear on its own or for use in nail art.

"Azalea" is a dusty pastel pink crelly. Here I am wearing three thin coats for complete opacity.  "Azalea" is such a delicate, feminine shade of pink. I think "Azalea" would pair nicely with "Wisteria," "Tulips," or both for some girly, spring-inspired nail art.

"Daffodils" is a sunny pastel yellow crelly. Here I am wearing three thin coats for complete opacity. This is such a bright and happy shade! As I have mentioned before, I am not typically a fan of yellows, but I love this one because it is a bright pastel and reminds me of Marshmallow Peeps! Yum!

"Hydrangeas" is a vibrant blue crelly that truly embodies its floral inspiration. Here I am wearing two thin coats for complete opacity. Like "Tulips," "Hydrangeas" is a bright shade that is just lovely for year-round wear or for use in nail art.

While swatching this collection, I had a little fun pairing a few of the polishes together for this fun mani that ended up reminding me of an Easter egg. I started with a base of "Daffodils." Then, I added some chevrons to my ring and pinky fingers using "Tulips," "Hydrangeas," and some chevron vinyls from Twinkled T

Along with the release of the Spring Collection, Lavish Polish will also be releasing a drop-dead gorgeous micro flake polish:

"Dazzling" is an easily full-coverage color-shifting micro flake polish that shifts from rainbow-infused purple to gold-infused green.  Here I am wearing three thin coats for complete opacity. I am downright in love with this polish! It is so beautiful, and I especially love all the colors you can see scattered throughout.

I literally can't even with this polish.

The Spring Collection and "Dazzling" are must-haves in my book. I love how each of the colors in the Spring Collection compliment each other in such a way that you could truly pair any or all of them together and still come out with a beautiful mani! The entire collection has the perfect crelly formula that Emely, the creator of Lavish Polish, is known for.
"Dazzling" is, well, dazzling! Full-coverage micro flake polishes are so in right now, especially those of the color-shifting variety. The purple shift of "Dazzling" is the more predominant of the two colors, which makes it perfect! And don't even get me started on the smattering of rainbow flakes throughout it. This beauty is drool-worthy.

The Spring Collection and "Dazzling" will be available for purchase beginning at 1:00 PM PST on Saturday, February 28th.

Lavish Polish - St. Patrick's Duo

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have Lavish Polish's St. Patrick's Duo to share with you!

As always, my swatches are topped with a coat of Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now, let's get to those swatches!

"Shamrock" is a kelly green linear holographic polish with a gorgeous golden shimmer. Here I am wearing three thin coats. Typically I can't pick up any of the multicolored shimmer of holographic polish in my lightbox, aside from macros, but if you look at my pinky, you can definitely see some holo action. I think this is such a perfect shade, not only for wear on St. Patrick's Day, but also year-round. I hate getting pinched, so I'll definitely be sporting this beauty on St. Patrick's Day this year.

Mmmmmm, holo!

"Paddy's Pub" is a milky white crelly packed with green and gold holographic hex glitter in varying sizes. Here I am wearing three coats for my desired opacity. "Paddy's Pub" is another perfect embodiment of St. Patrick's Day, and I absolutely love the name! It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia cracks me up to no end. "Paddy's Pub" would pair nicely with "Shamrock" for some awesome nail art.

Creamy!

I'm giving this duo the big thumbs up! "Shamrock" and "Paddy's Pub" compliment each other which makes them a great combination for nail art or skittle manis, the formulas are fabulous as is typical of Lavish Polish, and the colors are fun and festive.
You can purchase this duo in Lavish Polish's shop for $20.00.
Don't forget, you can use my discount code JESS15 to receive 15% off your purchase, no minimum required.

Vapid Lacquer - Candy Shop Collection

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have Vapid Lacquer's Candy Shop Collection to share with you! As an added bonus, I also have a fun birthday polish to share that was created to celebrate the maker of Vapid Lacquer's birthday! We'll start off with the yummy neon pastels that make up the Candy Shop Collection.

And I'm dead.

All six polishes in this collection have a subtle holo shimmer to add to their pastel neon awesomeness! If you loved Maybelline's Bleached Neon Collection from last summer, then you will absolutely love these babies! They are brighter, they shimmer, and they water marble like a dream! But we will get to that later.

All swatches are topped with a coat of Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now, let's get to those swatches!

"Bubble Gum" is a bright bubble gum pink pastel neon creme with a subtle holo shimmer. Here I am wearing two smooth and easy coats for complete opacity. I love how vibrant and happy this color is!

Look at that cute shimmer!

"Peach Ring" is an orangey peach pastel neon creme with a subtle holo shimmer. Here I am wearing two coats. This really reminds me of peach rings, which makes me hungry!

"Lemon Drop" is a lemon yellow pastel neon with a subtle holo shimmer. Here I am wearing two coats. Again, I am strongly reminded of lemon drops, which then reminds me of Dumbledore, but I digress.

"Rock Candy" is a lime green pastel neon creme with subtle holo shimmer. Here I am wearing two easy coats. This shade is so bright and fun!

"Gum Drop" is a vibrant blue pastel neon creme with a subtle holo shimmer. Here I am wearing two coats for complete opacity. Just like the rest of this collection, "Gum Drop" boasts an amazing formula. I love how this beauty is both a muted pastel and a vibrant neon at the same time. As SNL's Brian Fellows always said, "That's crazy!"

Last but not least from the Candy Shop Collection is "Lollipop." "Lollipop" is a bright, rich orchid pastel neon creme with a subtle holo shimmer. Here I am wearing two coats for complete opacity. This beauty certainly fits my "All purples are awesome rule." I love how creamy and pink-leaning this shade of purple is.

Love that shimmer!

Now, before we get to the water marble of the Candy Shop Collection, let's take a look at the super limited edition polish that will be released alongside the Candy Shop Collection:

"Birthday Bitch" is a muted turquoise creme that is absolutely swimming with green to gold and purple to gold color shifting flakes. At a distance these flakes even look coppery which makes this polish very reminiscent of turquoise jewelry. Here I am wearing two easy coats for complete opacity. "Birthday Bitch" is understated and classy while still being fun and whimsical.

Flakes for days!

Um, is anyone else as in love with the entire Candy Shop Collection joined harmoniously together in water marble form as I am!? I topped this off with "Fairy Dust" by China Glaze for a little extra sparkle.

Just. I just can't even.

I am giving this collection the big thumbs up! I love how bright and fun these colors are, and they all had the wonderfully smooth formulas that are typical of Vapid Lacquer polishes.
The Candy Shop Collection will be available for purchase in Vapid Lacquer's shop this Saturday, February 21st in the morning, MST. If you want to get your hands on these beauties I suggest you set an alarm because I foresee this collection selling out fast! If you are interested in "Birthday Bitch," you don't want to hesitate on that purchase either because once it sells out, it will be gone forever!

Heather's Hues - End of the Rainbow Collection

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have swatches of Heather's Hue's End of the Rainbow Collection. This collection consists of eleven polishes that will be available individually as well as in sets that include neutrals, warms, and cools. This collection of linear holographic polishes also contains flaky glitter for some added sparkle. Heather named this collection after traits of a beautiful woman; how cool is that?

So many pictures, so few spots on the collage!

As always, I topped all my swatches off with a coat of Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish for a super shiny finish. Now let's get to those swatches!

Let's start with the neutrals!

"Elegance" is a snowy white linear holo filled with white micro flakes. Here I am wearing two coats for complete opacity. The flakes in "Elegance" were just a touch larger than the rest of the collection which makes the formula just slightly different from the rest of the collection, but not in a bad way. You have to love a fresh, clean white mani, and with "Elegance" you get the fresh, clean white with a little added sparkle!

"Intelligence" is a chocolate brown linear holo filled with taupe-colored micro flakes. Here I am wearing two easy coats. This is such a warm shade of brown, and I just love that holo sparkle!

Bask in the holo rainbow!

"Defiance" is a perfect black linear holo filled with gunmetal micro flakes. Here I am wearing two smooth and easy coats. I love a plain black mani, but I love it even more with the holo sparkle!

I need a moment. I literally can't even with this rainbow sparkle.

Next, we have the warms!

"Passion" is a bright red linear holo with deep red micro flakes. Here I am wearing two easy coats for complete opacity. This is such as fun and sexy shade of red!

I also really enjoy the subtle violet shimmer "Passion" has in the right lighting. So gorgeous!

"Strength" is a vibrant orange linear holo with orange micro flakes. Here I am wearing two coats. I don't wear a lot of orange in my day-to-day life, but "Strength" is an orange that I could definitely see myself wearing again.

"Charm" is a bright banana yellow linear holo filled with bright yellow micro flakes. Here I am wearing two coats for complete opacity. Yellow is another color that is not in my typical repertoire, but you just can't say no to a yellow with a perfect formula!

This color makes me want to sing Banana Phone

"Grace" is a hot pink linear holo filled with magenta micro flakes. Here I am wearing two easy coats. This is such a vibrant, girly pink!

The flakes are so subtle, but in just the right light they steal the show!

Finally, we have the cools!

"Fortuity" is a kiwi green linear holo filled with emerald green micro flakes. Here I am wearing two coats. I love the gold undertone to this polish! It really compliments this shade of green.

"Individuality" is a stunning teal linear holo filled with aqua blue micro flakes. Here I am wearing two buttery smooth coats. This color is just jaw-dropping!

"Creativity" is a bright royal blue linear holo filled with sapphire micro flakes. Shown here is two coats. Yet another swoon-worthy blue from Heather's End of the Rainbow Collection!

"Serenity" is a violet colored linear holo with deep purple flakes. Here I am wearing two easy coats. As I always say, I've never met a purple that I haven't liked, and "Serenity" is no exception. I love the mixture of the light and vibrant base color with the dark flakes.

Purple perfection!

I wasn't done playing with these beauties, so I decided to cram as many of them into one mani as I possibly could! For this look I used the entire End of the Rainbow Collection with the exception of "Elegance" and "Intelligence." To create the spiral design, I used Twinkled T's Cyclone Vinyls.

I am totally enamored with this collection! It just has so much to offer: a huge variety of colors, fantastic formulas, and of course sparkle! All of the polishes in this collection are easily two coaters, and the colors are just stunning! You do not want to miss out on this collection!
These polishes will be available for purchase in Heather's shop this Friday, February 20th. You will be able to purchase these polishes individually or as a set. Set possibilities include: the entire collection, warms, cools, and neutrals.
