Awesome Sauce: Indie Box - Princess of Power

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have an awesome collaboration box to share with you! The Awesome Sauce: Indie Box is a quarterly themed box put together by four permanent contributors and one guest. The permanent contributors are Ever After Polish,  Lavish Polish, Anonymous Lacquer, and Aurora Lacquers. For this box, Aliquid Lacquer is the guest contributor.
This box includes five gorgeous polishes, one from each of the contributors, a Sea Side Escape hand scrub from Ever After Polish, and a piña colada lip balm from Aliquid Lacquer. The theme for this box is based on the 1980s toy line and cartoon series, Princess of Power.

All swatches are topped with Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish for a super glossy finish. Now, let's get to it!

"Glimmer-Ella" by Ever After Polish is a full-coverage micro glitter packed with super fine purple glitter, super fine blue micro flakes, small metallic red hex glitter, and holo shimmer. Shown here is two coats. This is such a beautiful, delicate shade and the scattered red hex glitter really makes "Glimmer-Ella" stand out.

"Undersea Defender" by Aliquid Lacquer is a beautiful teal crelly packed with gold micro flakes and an assortment of iridescent hex and square glitter. Shown here is two coats. This beauty was just a touch more green-leaning than this swatch shows as I couldn't quite capture its true color. One thing I can assure you of is that it is absolutely stunning. The name is so fitting as well!

"She Sees All" by Lavish Polish is a clear-based glitter topper loaded with metallic and holographic blue hex glitter in a three different sizes, metallic and holographic gold square glitter in two sizes, and super fine gold micro flakes. Shown here is one coat worn over "Dapper," also by Lavish Polish. "She Sees All" looks gorgeous worn as a glitter topper, and I imagine it could be worn as a full-coverage polish in two to three coats.

"She-Ra Soldier" by Anonymous Lacquers is a platinum silvery-white to gold color-shifting holographic polish. Shown here is two coats. Depending on the light, this polish sometimes looks silver, sometimes gold. I found that it leans silver in natural light, and gold indoors, as you will see in the macro below. It is like having two gorgeous manis wrapped up in one polish!

"Crystalline Frost" is a full-coverage silver micro glitter polish filled with holographic teal hex glitter and metallic navy blue hex glitter in two sizes. Shown here is two coats. Another perfectly chosen name! I love the mixture of blue glitter scattered throughout this frosty silver beauty, so perfect!

In addition to all those beautiful polishes, with your purchase of this edition of the Awesome Sauce Indie Box, you will also receive Sea Side Escape hand scrub from Ever After Polish and  piña colada lip balm from Aliquid Lacquer.

Sea Side Escape hand scrub consists of sea salt, sweet orange, eucalyptus, coconut oil and Vitamin E. When I opened it, I picked up the subtle scents of orange and eucalyptus, which smelled lovely! I followed the instructions on the label, and said hello to soft, moisturized hands. I've used this several times since it arrived and I am totally in love with it!

Aliquid Lacquer's piña colada lip balm consists of mango seed butter, beeswax, apricot kernel oil, olive oil, and, of course, piña colada fragrance. It has the sweet and tangy scent of pineapple and coconut, which smells just delicious! Full disclosure, I am a lip biter, so my lips are often cracked and chapped. I have been using this lip balm for a few weeks now, and my lips feel so soft and smooth! I just love it!

Long story short, the name of this box says it all: awesome sauce! I loved each of the components! All five polishes were superb in quality and composition: excellent formulas, beautiful colors, and a unique assortment that affords you a multitude of options for creative manicures. The bonus treats of hand scrub and lip balm smelled lovely and were very effective. I highly recommend this box for its quality of product as well as the fact that you get to try polishes and products from five unique brands at a great price.
The Awesome Sauce: Indie Box will be available for preorder starting this Friday, April 3rd at 5PM EDT in two size options:

"Cupid" is a ruby red jelly loaded with metallic ruby red micro glitter. Shown here is two easy, breezy coats. This is such a romantic shade, and so sparkly! I love bright sparkly polish! "Cupid" was part of the My Pretty Valentine Duo, but it is perfect for year-round wear!

EclecticGirls - Triassic Trio

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have EclecticGirls's new Triassic Trio to share with you! I am so loving all these dinosaur themed polishes lately! I had no idea there were others who were as in love with dinosaurs and nail polish as I am! This collection consists of one full-coverage micro glitter, one glittery crelly, and one holographic polish.

All swatches are topped with super glossy Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now, let's get to these Triassic Beauties!

"Fossilized" is a clear-based, full-coverage micro glitter packed with small  matte white and heather gray hex glitter, small matte black square glitter, and super fine metallic glitter in a rainbow assortment of colors. Shown here is two coats. This is my absolute favorite from this collection! It is just so beautiful and unique! The name is so fitting as well. I especially love how the rainbow metallic glitter brings a gentle shimmer to the larger neutral glitters.

Just YAS!

"Tails, Scales, and Nails" is an off-white crelly filled with small matte white hex glitter, small matte black square glitter, metallic yellow, lime, and red hex glitter, metallic green, orange, and red square glitter, large matte gray circle glitter, large matte white diamond glitter, little orange flecks, and a fine shimmer. Show here is two coats. The formula on this was a little dense, but not unmanageably so. The diamond glitter certainly reminds me of scales, which is awesome!

"Water Ripples" is a vibrant blue creme with a slight blue green color shift that is loaded with holographic pigment. Shown here is two smooth and easy coats. "Water Ripples" is gorgeous, perfectly named, and just dazzling in sunlight.

I think this collection is so unique! I especially love "Fossilized" and "Water Ripples!" All three polishes definitely give off a prehistoric vibe, which I absolutely love!
This collection will be available for purchase from EclecticGirls's shop at noon on Friday, March 27th.

Lolita Lacquer - Dino Digits Collection

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have Lolita Lacquer's Dino Digits Collection to share with you! I cannot even begin to express my excitement about this collection because it is inspired by one of my all-time favorite movies in the known universe: Jurassic Park!

Can we just talk about how adorable those labels are?!

All swatches were topped with super glossy Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now let's get to these Jurassic Beauties!

"JAW-llo" is a vibrant lime-green jelly packed with light and dark green metallic hex and small square glitter. Shown here is two super squishy coats. I think my picture actually makes the green read just a touch darker than it truly is. Think more of a radioactive ooze green. The macro is a tiny bit more color-accurate.

This green beauty was inspired by the iconic scene where Lex is eating jello after spending a traumatic night in the park and sees the silhouettes of the approaching raptors.

"Raptor Red" is a highly pigmented fire engine red creme. Shown here is two coats, but this baby was almost a one-coater. I cannot even say enough good things about the formula on "Raptor Red." It was heaven! So smooth, even, and super pigmented. Despite the high pigmentation, I had absolutely no issues with staining of the nails or cuticles. Just perfection!

10 out of 10 Raptors agree, this polish rocks.

"DNA" is a clear based glitter topper filled with black, white, yellow, and red matte hex and square glitter in a variety of sizes, Shown here is two coats worn over "Raptor Red." I love these two together! And, of course, the name reminds me of that very informative cartoon DNA strand from the movie which makes me smile.

"Tyrannosaurus RED" is a cherry red jelly filled with metallic red and iridescent hex glitter. Shown here is two easy coats. This polish is absolutely gorgeous! I love the way the light catches the glitter mix in "Tyrannosaurus RED."

Direct movie quote: "THIS POLISH IS GORGEOOOOOOOOOUSSSS!"

What can I say, folks? I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with this collection! Gorgeous polishes with great formulas based on one of the greatest movies of all time, what more could anyone ask for?
This collection is available for purchase in Lolita Lacquer's shop, so what are you waiting for!?

Exotic Lacquer - The Pastels Collection

Press Sample

Greetings! Today, I have Exotic Lacquers's The Pastels Collection to share with you! This is a five-piece collection that will be released alongside the Spring Mega Holo Collection on Thursday, March 26th.

All swatches are topped with a coat of super glossy Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Now, let's get to those swatches!

"Petal Pusher" is a bubblegum pink crelly. Shown here is two thin coats. This color is perfect for spring as well as year-round wear. "Petal Pusher" would pair nicely with any of the colors from this collection.

"Gypsy Wings" is a bright lavender crelly. Shown here is two easy coats. I love this shade for spring. It's so vibrant and reminds me of the many purple and pink flowers in my garden.

"Sweet Pea" is a kiwi green crelly. Shown here is two smooth and easy coats. One more coat would make this beauty completely opaque, but I stuck with two to show how opaque this entire collection is in two coats. Even on the sheer side, this spring beauty is lovely!

"Sky Scraper" is a sky blue crelly. Shown here is two easy coats. Like "Sweet Pea," the addition of one more coat would provide complete opacity, but is not necessary for it to look nice.

"Toasted Almond" is a yummy milk chocolate colored crelly. Shown here is two easy coats. This shade is absolute perfection, and I don't believe I have anything quite like it in my collection. So gorgeous!

I love this collection! It is so simple and so perfect! The formulas were absolute perfection and each one looked great in just two coats. This collection also boasts a quick dry formula which made for quicker application which is always a big plus!
This collection will be available for purchase on Thursday, March 26th.
