Greetings! Today, I have a few selections from ily Cosmetics to share with you! ily Cosmetics was established this summer, and they certainly hit the ground running!
All swatches were topped with a coat of Gem Glam Top Coat purchased from Dream Polish for a smooth finish. Now, let's get to these pretties!
Candy Fairy is a milky white crelly filled with mixture of pastel pink, yellow, blue, and purple glitter. Shown here is three coats for my desired opacity; however, it was acceptably opaque in two coats. This is my personal favorite from the selections you will see in this post. It's so delicate and pretty, and I just loves these pastel colors together! The butterfly wing charm that went so perfectly with this polish is from Virtuous Polish.
Unicorn dreams is a white crelly filled with pastel pink, purple, blue, and yellow glitter, as well as small purple stars, and small yellow crescent moons. Shown here is three coats, but two was sufficient. There is absolutely no need to fish for the moon and star glitter in this polish because there is plenty suspended nicely throughout this polish. My unicorn charm is from TwinkledT.
This polish also glows in the dark! How fun!
Flying Colors is a clear-based glitter topper filled with neon hex glitter in a variety of sizes and colors. Shown here is one coat worn over Pink Break by SinfulColors. You do have to be a little mindful with application to get good distribution over the nail.
Flying Colors also glows in the dark!
Daydreamer is a clear-based glitter topper filled with iridescent hex glitter. Shown here is one coat with some placement worn over Wrath of God by Virtuous Polish. I think this looks like fireflies in the dark! The hand-placement of glitter wasn't because there was any shortage of glitter. There was plenty of glitter, I just didn't apply it evenly enough.
Tribal is a clear-based glitter topper filled with matte pink and blue triangles, matte gray and blue micro hexes, and matte white bars. Shown here is one coat worn over Mistletoe Kiss by Joha's Love Nail Polish. There is absolutely no need for fishing with this glitter topper. I would even say that there is so much glitter that you need to be mindful when applying to get a nice distribution over the entire nail. Hey, too much glitter can never be a bad thing, right?
Fourth of July Cupcake is a bright white crelly filled with matte red and blue micro glitter and hexes, and red, white and blue star glitter. Shown here is two coats. This had nice glitter distribution like the rest of the crellies in these selections. This is such a cute polish for patriotic US holidays!
Patriotic Sugar Cookie is a clear-based glitter topper filled with red, white, and blue stars, red, white and blue hexes, and iridescent glitter in several shapes and sizes. Shown here is one coat worn over alternating gradients of Simply White by Winstonia Store, Passion by Joshik Polish, and All In by Pipe Dream Polish. Such a gorgeous topper!
ily Cosmetics is a newer indie brand, so this was my first experience with them, and it was definitely a good one! I really liked that I didn't have to fish for glitter in any of these polishes. The glitter was well suspended and there was plenty of it! As there was so much glitter packed in some of those bottles, it is important to note that you must apply carefully, but I would take extra glitter over not enough glitter any day! I definitely suggest you check ily Cosmetics out!
