Greetings! Today, I have ten selections from SinfulColors' Back to School Collection: A Class Act to share with you! This collection is available now through September at Walgreens and many other mass retailers and can be purchased for $1.99 each.
As some of these polishes have a fun demi-matte finish, not all swatches include top coat. I will note in the description which polishes were topped with top coat. Now, let's get started!
Blackboard is described as a demi-matte chalkboard black. Shown here is two coats without top coat. I fell instantly in love with this demi-matte finish. It is a nice waxy matte finish that looks just awesome! The formula on this one, as well as a few of the other demi-mattes, is similar to that of a jelly/crelly polish in that it is not 100% opaque like a creme polish would be.
Whiteboard is described as a demi-matte chalk white. Shown here is two coats without top coat. The formula on this demi-matte was more creamy and opaque compared to Blackboard. Again, totally loving this finish and you really can't beat a clean, white polish.
Pink Break is described as a demi-matte peachy-pink. Shown here is two coats without top coat. Pink Break had a more creamy formula like Whiteboard. This is such a soft feminine shade.
Truth or Lavendare is described as a demi-matte creamy lavender. Shown here is two coats without top coat. Truth or Lavendare fell in with Whiteboard and Pink Break formula-wise. As someone with an undying love for purple, I adore this polish! It's such a soft pastel shade!
Hazed is described as demi-matte subdued violet. Shown here is two coats without top coat. The formula on Hazed has that jelly/crelly-like formula that Blackboard does. Another gorgeous purple!
RADient is described as a demi-matte vibrant raspberry. Shown here is two coats without top coat. RADient had the most jelly-like formula and was the least opaque out of the demi-matte polishes that I tried. It is still very pretty despite the fact that you can see a slight nail line beneath the two coats of polish.
Chalk It Up is described as a demi-matte saturated pistachio green. Shown here is two coats without top coat. This had a more creamy, opaque formula like Whiteboard, Pink Break, and Truth or Lavendare. I am not usually a huge fan of light greens, but I really do love this one. I think everything looks awesome with a demi-matte finish.
Casablanca is described as a creamy metallic silver. Shown here is one coat topped with Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Yes, you heard correctly, one coat! Due to the metallic finish, you do have to be extremely mindful of your brush strokes, but I think that is a worthy sacrifice for a one-coater.
Summer S-Cool is described as a robin's egg blue creme. Shown here is two coats topped with Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. How gorgeous is this shade!? This is probably the prettiest mainstream blue creme polish that I own.
Fig is described a glistening plum and has a lovely shimmer. Shown here is one coat topped with Gem Glam Top Coat by Dream Polish. Yet another perfect one-coater! Plus, it's purple! What could be better than a purple one-coater?
The formulas on all ten of these polishes were nice and easily workable. The only one that required extra attention was Casablanca due to its finish. My top picks for this collection include Blackboard, Summer S-Cool, Whiteboard, and Truth or Lavendare. As mentioned above, SinfulColors' Back to School Collection: A Class Act is available for $1.99 now through September at many mass retailers.
